Moustache Power Calculator

This was posted over a year ago when the blog was still “The Beach Blog” over at blogger, but we have had some newbies come since then and so I’m sharing it with you again. It was created by the talented Brian Smith over at Bsmith Designs.

Asymmetric Warfare

Very interesting wiki on a very timely topic. I must worn it comes from the daily kos wiki, which is arguably a very extreme left-wing blog. Though the article itself seems to be neutral for the most part.

I think everyone needs to take a world history review class at least once a year to remind us of the mistakes of those before us. One of the wisest men who ever lived , was sitting feeling bad about himself because no one left comments on his blog in spite of all his wisdom and knowledge, he was still simply a man who was subject to mortality, wrote this, in his book titled Ecclesiastes:

9 What has been will be again,
what has been done will be done again;
there is nothing new under the sun.

10 Is there anything of which one can say,
“Look! This is something new”?
It was here already, long ago;
it was here before our time.

11 There is no remembrance of men of old,
and even those who are yet to come
will not be remembered
by those who follow.

Paris Hilton Stars Are Blind

I knew you were all waiting for this so I’m giving it to you.

Paris Hilton’s Stars Are Blind Music Video.

For all of us who have ever wanted to watch a 5 minute long cologne commercial here it is. (sorry no mermaids though.)

According to Ms. Hilton herself:

“I can make it nice and naughty…im perfect for you”

Paris, i’ve never asked you to be nice or naughty. I simply asked you to crawl up in hole somewhere and you can’t even do that. I would consider that less than perfect. Also don’t text me while I’m at work anymore because I’m not gonna write you back. *sigh* She can be so needy sometimes she always wants vigorous cheering.
Great writeup on Paris’ CD sales

electronicalifornia…in review

I’m sure you figured the indian tv was fake last week, so I’m using the same trick again to start a new feature here at electronicalifornia. It is called electronicalifornia…in review and if you haven’t guessed it, it’s where I use indian television to review recent posts and/or comments.

This weeks video review

I don’t know why this is funny but it is.

Free Katie

Tom Cruise got fired from paramount pictures this week. An executive was quoted saying they thought he was a great actor but:

“we don’t think that someone who effects creative suicide and costs the company revenue should be on the lot.”

Also an actor who is a member of a mind controlling cult that causes suicide among it’s members isnt great either.

Inman Brothers Productions Update

So I’ve been holding off on youtube for quite a while.  One reason: there isn’t tons I have to put up there plus some of my movies exceed the 10 min limit.  I finally decided to start a director account (which means I can upload movies over 10 minutes).  My account is still being processed so in the meantime you can check out my regular account at http://www.youtube.com/inmanbrothers.  This will be the unofficial-official home of Inman Brothers Productions movies while the current site is being indefinitely re-worked.

Fable of the Week

In honor of the poll:

THE BOY AND THE NETTLES

A BOY was stung by a Nettle. He ran home and told his Mother, saying, “Although it hurts me very much, I only touched it gently.” “That was just why it stung you,” said his Mother. “The next time you touch a Nettle, grasp it boldly, and it will be soft as silk to your hand, and not in the least hurt you.” Whatever you do, do with all your might.

Japanese Cheer Services

A college cheerleading team in japan has started hiring out their services to motivate people in their everyday lives. While not the same as american cheerleading (see Bring It On) it does consist of some the same elements: shouting, girls in skirts and precise arm movement. Always having to outdo us (made that up) the Japanese added a disturbingly loud shouting man and taiko drums. Osamu Kuwazaki, a mid forties buisnessman, that seemingly is trying to be as stereotypical as possible, hired the services of the cheer team*.

Osamu’s reason for hiring the services:

IFFCP5zwctBEI want vigorous cheering

So do I Osamu, So do I.

*Italics added to make them sound like a band of superheroes
