I said I would never enter a film “contest” again after the disappointment I felt for not winning an award at a local film festival several years ago. I was a little spoiled by the fact that I had won runner-up for best screenplay the year before.

Then Heinz came calling, promising money and fame. That cruel mistress. I gave the contest a fleeting thought and then mentioned that thought to my co-worker.

Inspired by some events at work, we decided we needed to enter and a week later shot our idea. My brother drove down with 2 hours notice and joined the crew along with his buddy from college who lived locally. We shot it last sunday from 10:30 p.m. to about 3 a.m. and spent basically the entire weekend editing it. Without further ado, Enjoy.
