You know what is interesting about what you say? There is a whole church movement right now in the U.S. that is supported but the 18-24 year old age group. I can't think of the name right now but you know what I am talking about. Ravi Zacharias an apologist whom I dearly respect was talking on a podcast about the 9 things that are wrong in America today. One of them was the younger generations respect for the elderly. I think in the Progressive Church (I think thas what it is called) 18-24 year old pastors who have not really lived and experienced all that much try to say that the traditional church is all wrong. Now not everyone in this movement say this but a good majority do. I think we can learn something from the past. We need not throw away the traditions of the past and say they don't work becasue you experienced that they do, what need to happen is a uniting of churches everywhere. Not progressives v. traditionals. But Christians, united under one awesome and holy God who created all and loves all. Lets embrace the past with the present, not push the past away to make room for the present.
