Two of these are probably “christian” songs.
The world has a lot of different thoughts on Jesus (not the mexican guy or the curse word). This is really obvious when you check out some entries in Jesus Picture of the Week. Art, music, film, etc; attempt to portray this God/man in a fathomable way. But what comes out of us, is what is in us. We filter everything through personal experience. Many people’s (persons? Charles?) opinions on Jesus don’t come from the man himself or even what he said and did when he was alive. They come from those that follow him, those they try to emulate his life.
Unfortunately, we have done some of the worst things under the pretense of “following God”.
Below is one of the songs from my “Jesus” playlist

Bill Gates has the worst resume EVAR!
This is for all those out there looking for work or working jobs you don’t like. Maybe you’re in the internety generation with a quarter (actually a third cause no one lives till 100) of your life left, wondering what to do next. Well, lift your head up.
Bill Gates has only 3 connections on the website. He has only worked for two companies, he’s been “self-employed” for 8 years and he worked 33 years for one company before that.
Obviously, from looking at his resume, he has no ambition or upward mobility (he stayed in the same job the whole time at microsoft). This guy is a real stinker.
So next time your feeling bad about your resume or list of accomplishments, remember that the supposed standards or must-do’s don’t really matter; it’s all about your talent and ideas.*

Mocking the new NBC show Quarterlife
Yep, it’s more Star Wars. Unfortunately it’s not my University of California “A” paper for FMS 177 The Holocaust in Film and Media.

My love for Star Wars has been reignited by my 5 yr old nephew. He recently visited my house and we spent hours playing Lego Star Wars for the Wii and looking through Star Wars: A Pop-Up Guide to the Galaxy. I’ve played a considerable amount of Lego Star Wars since they left and have been thinking about revisiting the movies again starting with the lesser first three films.
There is just something about the imagination of a child’s mind and the fantasy of Star Wars, that strikes a perfect cord.
The below video is the retelling of Star Wars by a 3 yr-old girl.
On a sidenote, I actually wrote a college paper on Star Wars as it relates to the Holocaust as portrayed in cinema, maybe I’ll post it later this week.
The Official Roman Catholic Blessing:
Bless, O Lord, this creature beer, that Thou hast been pleased to bring forth from the sweetness of the grain: that it might be a salutary remedy for the human race: and grant by the invocation of Thy holy name, that, whosoever drinks of it may obtain health of body and a sure safeguard for the soul. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
